Make Scalping illegal There's your solution to scalping. Make it so that anyone selling a product over msrp within the first year or two of that products release, is fined severely. Second offense is jail time. After that time frame, you may sell said product for whatever you want. At that point there should be sufficient stock, so reselling said item shouldn't even be considered. This also creates jobs. There will need to be people to report scalping to. There could be entire divisions created to deal with it. Plus, the scalper can no longer be a leech exploiting, "muh free murket" They would have to get a trade, skill, degree, etc, and actually contribute to society. Everybody wins.
