Customer response Business response 02/14/2023 Truspilot.com is engaging in False Advertising, *****************Consumer Friendly Business Practices, Fraudulent Review Suppresssion & other discriminatory practices.---They allow business to fraudulently "flag" entire reviews for removal over a single piece of information, forcing the consumer to adhere to arbitrarily enforced "rules" such as: - Consumers aren't allowed to include a customer service reps (first name, last initial) in a negative review, if they do their review will get flagged for removal as containing Personally Identifiable Information & violating ToS. Example: "************" got my review flagged unit I replaced it with "Agent"- When the exact same name is posted in a positive review, it is in that case "not" a violation of the guidelines according to Truspilots customer service department. - Truspilot support states it is "up to the business" whether or not a consumer posting the exact same information in a positive or negative review is a violation of their ***************** ignoring their own guidelines when it will benefit a business that pays them while harming consumers. This is clearly a deceptive, fraudulent, double standard & anti-consumer practice.---They allow business to pay them to suppress reviews the business doesn't like; Evidenced here:*********************************************************************************** ---Additionally, a brief review of their page will show an inordinate number of one line, positive reviews from accounts that have little to no other activity when viewing by "most relevant", while any lengthy & detailed reviews that show actual issues with the business end up hidden & suppressed.While this isn't itself an obvious marker for fraudulent review farming, taking into account their paid suppression of negative reviews & other varied anti-consumer practices, it becomes much easier to see how the truthful, honest & accurate reviews get hidden from view.
